We had the usual good turnout at the lunch on Oct 18.

We are extending many thanks to Kelly Wilson for providing us with his very interesting career highlights. Feedback at the lunch was very positive so we are looking for volunteers to provide writeups which will be posted in future newsletters.

Bob Taylor provides an update on the Chem Eng Scholarship Program, attached (Endowment Fund Financial Report Apr_2023.zip).
As of end of September, the endowment is sitting at $58,400 and the trust account is sitting at $5700 which will cover the scholarships in 2024 and 2025. Once the endowment principal reaches the $70,000 threshold, it will sustain one annual award of $2100 and we can start using the balance of the trust fund (if any) to start the second award.
