Hi guys,

We hope you had a good winter!  Now that spring is almost here, it’s time to plan our next class lunch.

At this point we are unable to fix an exact date for the reasons which are described below so we would ask you to mark off 2 potential dates on your calendar - Wednesday May 8 and Wednesday May 15. We will firm up a date as soon as possible.

For the past few years, the Aberfoyle Mill restaurant has been our go-to place for our lunches and they have been good to us, offering private rooms and servers with incredible memory for who ordered what drink! Unfortunately, they have one drawback which is related to washroom facilities for guests with mobility issues.

I (Vic) have just come off a full knee replacement surgery and realize that navigating the stairs at the Aberfoyle Inn may not be possible for me. This may also be a challenge for others. So, Tom & I think it’s time to scout around for other venues with comparable food quality and more accessible washroom facilities. For this reason, we will need some time to firm up a location & finalize the date. Please bear with us!

The other thing we want to mention is that Bob Taylor has received an invitation from the Dean of Engineering at the UofW to host a lunch & tour for us. A number of you have expressed interest in participating. So, with Bob’s help a June lunch date may also be a possibility- details to follow…
